lifestyle + brand photography in tasmania

  • WHAT IS YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY EXPERIENCE + BACKGROUND?

you’ll be working with a photographer with more than twenty years behind the camera and a strong analogue foundation, shaped by a two-year black-and-white film photography course and decades of real-world practice.

your work is photographed with an editorial eye — guided by light, process and the small details that make a business feel credible and memorable. experience includes ongoing training, product and brand photography for female-led creative businesses since the early instagram years, and long-term documentary work that’s refined a calm, clear approach on shoot day.

based in tasmania’s northern midlands, rewild studio brings a deep understanding of regional places and the way local businesses operate — so your story is captured with care, accuracy and respect for the space you’ve built.

    ARE YOU INSURED?

yes — i hold public liability insurance.

    WHAT’S YOUR OTHER JOB?

photography is the work here — there isn’t another job on the side.

  • WHERE ARE YOU BASED AS A PHOTOGRAPHER IN TASMANIA?

i’m based in the northern midlands of lutruwita/tasmania. most of my sessions take place across central tasmania — the midlands, meander valley + central highlands — travel beyond this area is always possible — additional travel is $50 per hour each way [billed from epping forest, 7211] whether it’s a short drive or an overnight trip, a tailored quote can be provided.

WHAT KIND OF PHOTOGRAPHY DO YOU OFFER?

rewild studio offers lifestyle and brand photography for female creatives and small businesses — including makers, agritourism operators, farmers and regional businesses.

the style blends documentary and editorial approaches, creating authentic, story-led imagery that shows your work, your space and your process in a way that feels true to life and easy to use across your marketing.

DO YOU WORK WITH AGRITOURISM BUSINESSES?

yes — i love working with agritourism operators. from growers and hosted stays to farm-to-table producers, these stories are a natural fit for my lifestyle photography approach.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK A PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION?

most clients book one to three months ahead, especially for seasonal shoots and peak periods. if a specific date, launch, or time of year matters for your business, booking early helps plan around your season and secure the right light and timing.

HOW MUCH DOES TASMANIAN BRAND PHOTOGRAPHY COST?

pricing depends on the kind of image library you need — from a short refresh through to deeper, story-led coverage. offerings include planning, photography, editing and delivery of your selected images. a full pricing guide is available on the working together page.

    WHAT IS YOUR HOURLY RATE?

pricing isn’t charged by the hour. each offering is priced as a complete session, so you receive clear planning, calm direction on the day and a finished image library — not just time on a clock. the session length is built into each offering to match the outcome you’re aiming for.

DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS FOR NOT-FOR-PROFITS OR COMMUNITY GROUPS?

yes — a limited number of reduced-fee sessions are available each year for registered not-for-profits and organisations doing community or environmental work in tasmania. availability depends on season and capacity. reach out with a short overview of the organisation, location, and how the images will be used, and options can be discussed.

DO YOU OFFER PHOTOGRAPHY FOR EVENTS OR WORKSHOPS?

yes — when the setting suits the style. rewild studio doesn’t cover traditional indoor, low-light events. sessions work best for experiences, tours and workshops with strong natural light, where the focus is atmosphere, process and detail. with people included naturally, not posed as the main subject — much like my woolmers estate field notes.

WHAT IF I’M CAMERA SHY — DO I NEED TO BE IN THE PHOTOS?

not at all. many clients prefer the focus to stay on products, process, space and surroundings. if you’d like to be included, gentle guidance is provided so everything feels natural — no stiff posing or pressure.

WHAT IF THE WEATHER ISN’T RIGHT?

tasmanian weather is part of the story, and light rain or cloud can photograph beautifully. if conditions are genuinely unworkable or unsafe, the session can be rescheduled.

    DO YOU TRAVEL INTERSTATE?

the focus is tasmania, with limited interstate travel available by request. if an interstate session feels important, reach out with dates and location for a tailored quote.

CAN I SPLIT A SESSION ACROSS DIFFERENT LOCATIONS?

yes — full-day offerings can include more than one location. this works well when you want variety, such as your workspace plus an outdoor setting, or a farm location plus a nearby town.

  • WHAT’S YOUR TURNAROUND TIME?

your edited gallery will be ready within three weeks of your session.

HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL I RECEIVE?

    DO YOU PROVIDE RAW IMAGES?

no — final images are delivered fully edited and ready to use. editing is part of the process and ensures consistency in tone, colour and finish across your image library.

    WHAT LICENSING IS INCLUDED?

after booking, you’ll receive a short guide with simple tips on what to bring, how to get your space ready, and how to feel comfortable on the day without overthinking it.

DO YOU OFFER REFUNDS IF I NEED TO CANCEL?

the booking fee is non-refundable. if something changes, rescheduling is usually possible and best efforts are made to find a new date.

DO YOU TAKE ON PERSONAL PROJECTS?
